Terms of Service

Last updated: · English

1. Scope and use of the service

These Terms apply to GasTank's website, customer console and rental API. By creating an account, requesting a rental or submitting an API order, you agree to these Terms. If you act for an organization, you must have authority to do so. You must have legal capacity to enter into an agreement and use the service lawfully in your location.

GasTank supplies temporary TRON Energy and, where offered, Bandwidth through resource delegation. We do not execute your USDT transfers or other smart-contract transactions for you. We do not promise investment returns, a particular TRX value or a guaranteed saving. GasTank is independent of the TRON network, wallet applications and token issuers.

2. Networks, wallets and resource requirements

Check the network displayed on the service before ordering or transferring funds. Nile is a test network: test TRX has no promised monetary or redemption value, and test results do not guarantee mainnet performance. Never send mainnet funds to a test deployment or assume an address identifies the intended network.

You are responsible for entering an address you can use, choosing sufficient resources and selecting an appropriate rental period. Resource estimates, including a displayed number of USDT transfers, are estimates rather than a guarantee that a transaction will succeed. Contract behavior and network parameters may change. Energy does not replace Bandwidth, account activation or other network requirements.

We never need your external wallet's private key, recovery phrase or signing permission to provide a rental. Do not send them to support. Delegated resources do not transfer ownership of the platform's staked TRX to you; the delegation may be recalled when the rental ends, subject to chain rules.

3. Quotes, payment and delivery

Displayed estimates are indicative. Review the final quote, resource quantities, rental period, receiving address and fee breakdown before accepting. A quote is valid only until its stated expiry and does not itself reserve inventory. Quotes may be unavailable when resource inventory, pricing data or network verification is unavailable.

For direct TRX payment, transfer exactly the displayed amount to the specified address within the payment window. Your wallet's transaction fee is separate. Transfers to the wrong address or network, late payments, incorrect amounts and unsupported assets may require investigation and may be impossible to recover. Do not send a replacement payment without first checking the original payment's status.

For balance-funded orders, the quoted amount is frozen when the order is accepted. Fees are settled according to confirmed delivery and any applicable activation outcome. A confirmed payment is not the same as confirmed resource delivery: follow the order's resource statuses and on-chain transaction records. Delivery time is affected by chain confirmations, inventory and external infrastructure; it is not guaranteed to be instantaneous.

The order records the applicable rental timing. Once resources are delivered, failure to use them during the rental period does not by itself mean the rental was not supplied. Check your resources again before broadcasting your own transaction, because other activity in your wallet can consume them.

4. Partial delivery, activation and payment issues

Energy and Bandwidth are tracked separately. If only part of a combination order is confirmed as delivered, settlement is based on the successfully delivered resource portions. An address activation that was successfully performed may still be charged at the activation fee accepted in the quote, even if a later delegation fails. A zero activation fee does not represent a charge or refund.

Unused balance freezes are released when the relevant outcome is determined. For direct-payment orders, a refundable difference may require manual review and an on-chain refund; it is not an automatic immediate return. If a transaction's outcome is unknown, we first verify the existing transaction rather than treating it as a definite failure or repeating the payment or delegation.

Contact us through the contact page with the order ID, network and transaction hash if a payment or delivery appears incorrect. Never include wallet secrets, passwords, authenticator setup secrets or API keys. We may request evidence that you control the relevant account or address before discussing an account or returning funds. Recovery is not guaranteed where funds cannot be accessed or ownership cannot be verified. Nothing here removes refund or other remedies required by applicable law.

5. Customer accounts and prepaid balances

Keep your email, password, authenticator and recovery codes secure. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account and for promptly reporting suspected unauthorized use. A password change does not revoke existing API keys; revoke compromised keys separately. Email password recovery does not automatically remove an enabled authenticator.

A customer balance is a record of prepaid TRX available for supported GasTank services. Deposited funds are received in platform-controlled addresses; the balance is not a wallet whose private key you control, a bank account or an interest-bearing product. Do not deposit more than you intend to use. Self-service balance withdrawal is not currently offered; requests concerning unused balances are reviewed through support, subject to verification and applicable rights. No fixed withdrawal timetable or interest is promised.

6. API use and acceptable conduct

Keep API keys on your server, use the minimum necessary permission and respect rate limits. A rental-enabled key can spend the account's available balance. Keys may have an expiry or remain valid until revoked. Use the documented idempotency mechanism for retries; a new request key can create another chargeable order. An HTTP timeout does not establish that an order failed.

Do not use the service for unlawful activity, fraud, unauthorized access, attacks, interference with other users, circumvention of security controls or deliberate abuse of quotes and payment matching. Use of the documented API for legitimate commercial integrations is allowed, subject to these Terms and its access limits.

7. Availability and restrictions

We may limit or suspend requests where needed for maintenance, security, suspected abuse, an unresolved payment issue, resource shortages or legal obligations. Where reasonably possible we will explain the issue and provide notice. Suspending access does not erase existing payment records or obligations to review amounts due to you. Chain failures, congestion, resource locks and third-party outages can delay completion or recovery.

8. Content, external services and responsibility

GasTank branding, website materials and documentation remain subject to their applicable intellectual-property rights. You may use the website and documentation to access the service and build permitted integrations; you may not misrepresent an affiliation or remove ownership notices.

Wallets, explorers, email providers, RPC infrastructure and other linked services operate under their own terms. We do not control your destination contract, its token restrictions, or transactions you sign. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not warrant uninterrupted access or acceptance of your transaction by the network and are not responsible for indirect losses caused by matters outside our reasonable control. We remain responsible for obligations and remedies that applicable law does not allow us to exclude, including liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

9. Privacy, updates and contact

Our Privacy Policy explains personal-data handling; our Cookie Policy explains browser storage. Reading these documents is not consent to optional tracking or unrelated marketing.

We may update these Terms as the service changes. The revision date is shown above; material changes will be communicated through the service or other appropriate notice. Updated pricing or terms do not retrospectively change an already accepted order, except where required by law. Mandatory consumer and other legal protections continue to apply.

For service questions, payment disputes or questions about these Terms, use the channels shown on the contact page.
